ALKOX CP-A is random copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide and allyl glycidylether.
ALKOX CP-A is anticipated to develop applications by utilizing the reactivity of side chain of allyl group.
Since it is enable to obtain insoluble polymer in any solvent by self-crosslinking property of allyl groups, it can be utilized wide and various applications such as forming insoluble hydrophilic film and reacting with other chemicals.
On the other hand, ALKOX CP-A can be used as a water-soluble thermoplastic resin as same as other ALKOX under uncrosslinked condition, which is soluble in water at all concentrations. Aqueous solution of CP-A shows higher viscosity the same molecular weight of poly (ethylene oxide) by its weak interactions of hydrophobic allyl group
Also, CP-A has much different physical property than other grades such as resilience and adhesion by the effect of the allyl group.
