ALKOX L series is low molecular weight ethylene oxide homopolymer grade which has 60,000~110,000 of average molecular weight.
ALKOX L series has very narrow molecular weight range compared with conventional ALKOX so that We expect to be found new characteristics and applications in the future. It may use as thickener of Ink for Inkjet printing since the water solution of L series does not contain high molecular component which has stringiness.
ALKOX L series has low melt viscosity by its narrow molecular weight distribution. Therefore it has characteristics such as bleed out resistance and preventing degradation from resin blending for the application of resin additive and so on. As resin additive use, it shows less deterioration against the shearing when mixed and less bleeding from the resins.

Aqueous solution of ALKOX Lseries shows similar viscosity to ALKOX R-150.
It can adjust more detailed viscosity by selecting L-6, L-8 and L-11
The MFR and melt viscosity are greatly changed by a little difference of molecular weight between ca.60,000 to ca.110,000.
